The idea

A single search result is rarely the whole research record. TRACTOR organizes an investigation across independent public sources while recording what was requested, what responded and what remains unsearched.

How it works

A resumable asynchronous query queue feeds source adapters into a local database. Deduplication, multilingual query variants, evidence hashes and provenance records support a Qt desktop interface with readable source coverage and export.

What’s implemented

  • Iterative public-source research across independent providers
  • Evidence views, discovery chains, duplicate grouping and content hashes
  • Stop, resume, refresh and searchable local investigation history
  • JSON, Markdown and spreadsheet-safe CSV export
