The idea
Provide a local workspace for inspecting bytes, learning cryptology and performing standard cryptographic operations without a cloud dependency.
How it works
A shared Go crypto layer serves CLI and GUI operations. Cryptographic primitives use Go's standard library. The profile pipeline combines statistical measures into bounded research triage. Envelope records carry authenticated chunk metadata; the local HTTP GUI has per-process tokens, same-origin checks and a strict CSP.
What’s implemented
- Hashing and HMAC with SHA-2 and SHA-3
- CSPRNG bytes and passphrases
- Byte entropy, bit balance, coincidence, block repetition and autocorrelation reports
- Ed25519 key generation, signing and verification
- Chunked AES-256-GCM envelopes derived from passphrases
- Embedded local browser workspace with JSON result export
PROJECT STATUS / LOCAL WORKBENCH
Where it stands
Usable local workbench; engineering prototype without independent security audit.
- Not externally audited or FIPS validated.
- Statistical profiling is triage and does not prove a cipher, key or source.
- Legacy MD5/SHA-1 are exposed only as deprecated digest-inspection options.
