The idea
Scientific computation should preserve the distinction between an exact result, a numerical approximation and a conjecture. CENTL brings arithmetic, algebra, STEM tools and research records into a local computing environment.
How it works
A Rust engine implements big integers, rational values, symbolic operations and domain kernels. A local web interface and desktop hosts expose the same computation surface; notebooks, plotting and export support a reproducible working record.
What’s implemented
- Exact rational arithmetic and canonical polynomial operations
- Scientific notebooks, workspace history and Jupyter notebook export
- Function plotting and physics/chemistry computation modules
- Desktop wrappers and a local browser interface
PROJECT STATUS / WORKBENCH
Where it stands
Scientific workbench
- Operation coverage and numerical guarantees vary by module
- A computation or research search is not a proof of an arbitrary conjecture
- Optional academic search and AI integrations require network access
